"Your Serial Number Cannot Be Activated Automatically. You May Be Trying To Activate More Copies Of The Product Than Is Provided For By The License Agreement"

Reason behind the error message "Your serial number cannot be activated automatically. You may be trying to activate more copies of the product than is provided for by the License Agreement".

This error message appears when the serial number of the program trying to activate was temporarily blocked. This can happen for several reasons:

  • The serial number was activated very frequently.
  • The serial number was used to upgrade a program.
  • As a result of a violation of the end-user license agreement.

Important:
If the Abbyy FlexiCapture license was purchased via UiPath before July 9th 2022, then you can address this issue to the UiPath Licensing team. If the license was purchased directly from Abbyy or after July 9th 2022, then the issue should be directed to Abbyy Support, via the channels offered by Abbyy.
