Resolution:

Approach #1:
  1. Enable Windows Powershell 1.0 or higher from Windows Features

  1. Perform a reboot of the server .


Approach #2: If Windows Powershell 1.0 or higher is not found in Windows Features,
  1. Download it from Microsoft's website. Use the Download link for Powershell 2.0.
  2. Install the same
  3. Reboot.
