Why I can run the unattended bot from the orchestrator without connecting to the remote machine but another co-worker can't?

Why I can run the unattended bot from the orchestrator without connecting to the remote machine but another co-worker can’t? He has to connect to the bot machine. Is that something with our permissions in the orchestrator?

This doesnt make sense indeed, how are you triggering the job? What happens when the other user tries to start the job?

We trigger the bot the same way in the orchestrator, select the process and click the Start a job button. The other user will get “An exception occured Cannot bring the target application in the foreground.” error.

The same remote machine causes an exception if different people triggre…? That makes no sense.

Please provide a more detailed picture.

@Hu_Xiaotao,

Welcome to the UiPath Community!

The issue you are highlighted looks intermittent. As per your description I don’t think there is any user specific issue.

Regarding issue An exception occured Cannot bring the target application in the foreground

I think your application bot trying to interact with not in foreground may be due to another application overlapping it. Or unknown popup came up while running.

Solution: Try to use Input method Simulate click wherever possible as this will work in background also.
