Why does the "Select Item activity" always select the first item?

Hi All,
I’m trying to use the select item activity in the list below

and i want choose one of the lists example “PBS.accdb”

but when i’m Running UI, the activity always choose the first list item 'Everlight.accdb"

Please help, thankyou

Welcome to the forum

It looks like a desktop application, where the different list items cannot more specific adressed by the selector

You can try with F4 UiFramework Change to check, if it can be more specific be adressed.
Otherwise you would fall back to other last resort strategies

or share the selector for clarification

Check with select item activity once after highlighting whether the option you want to be chosen is mentioned in that activity in studio

Try to choose only that drop down as the region of scope
Don’t select the other region apart from drop down
Try changing framework by pressing F4 and see whether u r able to select that drop down region as a selector
