Whats are the basic activtites used in excel automation

Im newbie to Excel automation. Please suggest me the activities that’s to be covered in excel automation (for interview perspective)

It will be great if you could share real time scenarios to practice

Fine let’s got one by one

  1. Usually there are two set of activities to work on a workbook which is called as excel file in common

  2. First one if you have excel application installed in your machine you can use EXCEL activties to process the workbook

That is if you want to use excel activity you need excel to be installed in your machine

Fine if if don’t have excel installed in my machine then what to do

  1. There comes the second way of processing a workbook
    We can use WORKBOOK activities which has similar set of activities as in excel activity package

Search as WORKBOOK in activity panel for workbook activities and search as EXCEL in activity panel for excel based activities

Both are more or less same
But makes a difference if the Excel application is not installed
