If you open your task manager and click on the “details” tab this shows the name of the processes. From this list locate the one you wish to terminate and type in the name (excluding the .exe) as a string in the process name section.

For example if you have internet explorer running and check the details page the process is called iexplore.exe - in this case enter “iexplore” into the process name box.
