Vertical IF is not a helpful solution. Please enable a horizontal approach

Dear UiPath team

This topic has been raised several times, but you ignore it. Forcing the use of activity ‘IF’ in a vertical form is a very bad idea and greatly reduces the readability of the workflow. It is worth mentioning that in the past, if someone wanted to use a vertical approach, they could use ‘IF ELSE’ for this and easily adapt it. At the same time, there was always the possibility of building IF horizontally. There are situations when a solution is built with nested IF. In the vertical version, it is a real pain.

Version degradation should not be considered a solution; we do not update projects for this.

On behalf of myself and many users, I ask you to take our feedback into account. Enable a horizontal approach

Seems like there could be an option on the activity so we can choose which way it displays. I agree, usually the vertical is a pain. Notice other activities like Check App State, Parallel, and Pick Branch are horizontal.

It’s really hard to believe how this solution could pass readability and user experience tests. Especially when we could already adapt horizontal and vertical approaches depending on needs (regular IF or ELSE IF). Why, despite feedback from experienced developers, the UiPath Team doesn’t take this into account. After all, it’s basic functionality, not some insignificant addition.

Could someone from UiPath Team finally investigate this topic? @loginerror Maciej, is there anything we can do to eventually investigate this topic?
