How to access Generic variable type?

There is an Icon called ‘Create Variable’ on the top ribbon which has an option to create variable with ‘Generic Value’. Another was is to create it from ‘Variables’ tab by changing the Variable Type. Here you may have to select ‘Browse for Types…’ and search for ‘GenericValue’.
