Unattended Robot automatic Windows Login possible?

Hi Guys,

Im trying to create an Unattended Robot which is downloading data from SAP and converting it to an Excel file aswell as formatting.

The Problem is that I want to get this done on a machine that isnt running all day. We want to implement an Unattended Robot which is processing the workflow at night so that you have the new processes data every morning.

However it seems like when the laptop is in standby mode that the robot isnt able to login to Windows, which is obviously required for the kind of process were trying to implement.

Is there any solution that the robot logs in on the machine, processes the workflow and logs out afterwards?

Any help would be very much appreciated, Thank you.

Kind regards,
Tim

You can try enable Wake Up from network

But this will only boot the PC right?

The Problem is that the Unattended Bot isnt able to login to Windows when the PC is already turned on.

The User will just be logged out but the Computer is turned on, so a human would just have to press a key and type in the WIndows password and enter. Why isnt a unattended Robot able to do that?

Hi @1c5108073d5c112f11e088592 ,

The Statement mentioned is basically how an Unattended Robot works on a Remote Server, provided the system is turned on.

Could you also let us know if there were any error messages present ? Have you checked the logs in Orchestrator ?
