Unable to send the attachment over SOAP API

Hi Guys,

I am using the SOAP API to upload a file, I am able to upload it. There are two arguments are available

Attachment Name
Attachment Data

For Attachment Name, I am passing the full path of the file and for Attachment data, I am passing the Bytes of the file as a string, however, in the frontend user are able to open the file but it is showing as

I think I am doing something wrong while sending the request, could you please let me know what is wrong here?
