I start UiPath Studio > Sign in , I put my service url , and sign in. Then UiPath Studio changes to “Connect to tenant” and I get “Connection failed: Could not find unattended robot for user key xxxxx-xx-xxx”.
I don’t want a unattended robot. I was previously testing on this machine and configured an unattended robot in UiPath Assistang but I disconnected that but it seems that UiPath Assistant and UiPath Studio “remember” that and still try to get the unattended robot.
How can I make it so that I can use UiPath Studio with attended robot?
I uninstalled UiPath Studio and install it again. In the installation I choose the “Custom (recommended for Enterprise/Advanced Users)” not the “Quick (recommened for Community Users)” and then it ask me if I wanted a “Automation Developer” or “Unattended robot”. So now I choose Automation Developer, but after installing and sign in I get the same error “Could not find unattented robot for user key xxxx”
The xxx corresponds to a actual “client ID / Machine Key” that I used previously, but I don’t know how to make UiPath Studio to forget it.
The “Connection failed: Could not find unattended robot for user key xxxxx-xx-xxx”. The xxxx-xx-xxx is NOT a “Client ID / Machine Key” I was mistaken. The user key xxxxx -xx-xxx is probably my user key which I don’t know how to check in the orchestrator ui.
But then I realized that my license was released in the orchestrator (Admin > Licenses > Users ) and that it’s really what that message means. I had to release some other user license and login again so the license gets assigned to me and then the message disappeared and could start using the UiPath Studio again.
