I couldnt start the StudioX in my pc. On the sign in to get started, it says "could not find unattended robot for user key **** What can I do to log in and access my projects?
Hi @shaina1,
Refer below cause if this error:
To correct this, go to orchestrator-> tenant-> manage access-> your user id-> check what license is assigned there, if not, assign license to you.
If you are not able to resolve it still, please share screenshot of this page to help us understand the issue better. And also check the licenses page and your username, you would be able to see if license is active.
Regards
Sonali
Hi there,
I am trying to do the exercises as part of the UiPath academy courses to learn to use Studio, and I am experiencing this issue after I have installed the application and tried to launch it.
I tried both the UiPathStudioCommunity and UiPathStudioCloud installation packages.
I tried to follow the steps to correct, but when I get to the Orchestrator\Tenant\Manage Access or the Orchestrator\Tenant\License areas, I am unable to do anything else or view any licenses for attended/unattended/test robots.
I am uploading a shot of the attended license page
Please go to automation cloud, then Admin->licenses-> users(check for your username what license is assigned)
here is the snapshot of the license page. I do not see my username so maybe i am looking in the wrong area?
On this screen only, bottom, there will be a section for group/users. You need to expand that
Thank you for your help! I am looking for any area to expand but i do not see anything. My previous picture captures the full âscreenâ of the window.
is there somewhere else i am supposed to look?
Hi @faisal.alireza ,
The below section is what @sonaliaggarwal47 is referring to,
Expand it like the below one,
check for your username what license is assigned
If it is blank, click on allocate license, type in your name, youâll find the username popping up, and check on all licenses and save
Thank you for this clarification. I expanded the overall browser window and took a screenshot to the ends of it and slightly beyond, and I do not see this section that you are highlighting to expand.
I looked at the settings/advanced area and it seems managing licenses is not enabled.
Do i need to enable License management? If i do it says that it could disconnect other bots not on the âmodernâ orchestrator structure. However, since this is a learning environment, i am assuming it is an instance for myself only, so this should not be an issue. Is this a potential next step?
Yes, please try enabling License management
Ok so i enabled the license management and was able to allocate an attended robot to my user account.
when i try to launch the Studio application now, i get a new error which is the âuser license is disabledâ.
I understand that you want to open studioX.
For that you need to assign yourself Automation developer license.
on licenses page that you shared earlier, there is a description that defines what services/products you will get access to by assigning this license.
So, for studioX capability, its automation developer - named user
I added the automation developer license, so now i have both the attended and the automation develop licenses assigned.
I get the same error when launching.
here is the latest picture of the admin\license page with my user expanded
I looked around further for any discussions on this new input and someone mentioned looking into the Orchestrator area.
I went in and saw that i am listed as an orchestrator admin, and i found this page under the Orchestrator->Tenant->Machines, where it lists my version of studio is non-compliant.
Anyone have any insights on how to fix this?
Please install latest version of studio
@sonaliaggarwal47 Thank you for the suggestion!
I checked the installer package on the UI Path website (version 25.0.161), and it is the same one that i installed on my machine on May 7th.
Can you verify what is the latest version of Studio in case i have the wrong one, or can you provide a link to a different, more recent version on the UI Path website?
