Solution
The problem is that UiPath.Service.Host process (the robot) was not restarted at all after the upgrade.
This can be done by killing the process in task scheduler, restarting the robot tray or logging out/logging in to your windows account.

this error means that your user id doesn’t have a developer/attended license allocated at the moment. thats why this error, kindly go to automation cloud->admin->licenses->find your user name->check if any license assigned. assign proper license. this should resolve your issue.

I misread the whole thing.
The “Connection failed: Could not find unattended robot for user key xxxxx-xx-xxx”. The xxxx-xx-xxx is NOT a “Client ID / Machine Key” I was mistaken. The user key xxxxx -xx-xxx is probably my user key which I don’t know how to check in the orchestrator ui.
But then I realized that my license was released in the orchestrator (Admin > Licenses > Users ) and that it’s really what that message means. I had to release some other user license and login again so the licens…
