What is teh differnece between integration and app integration ?

Integration - Connecting Outlook via Restful Web Services such MS Graph or add-ins
App Integration - Connecting external services an tools by providing access to Outlook inbox without leaving outlook

Integration activities work with the Integration services and Integration services connect to mails via api
app integration as the name suggest will work via outlook app installed on your system…and that application is responsible to connect to outlook server and you use the application to access the mails
