Forumposts: date(year) missing.
I sometimes scroll through older posts. I can see the month-day of a post or response, but not the year.

If the year is missing, it means that it is the current year. The year gets added for posts from previous years

Report function: notifying forum moderator
I have never used the “flag / report” function, so maybe that’s where it’s already for.

The flagging system is indeed the way to go here.

Moderator board
Im not a moderator but is there a board to discuss things between moderators?

There is a @Forum_Moderators_2024 group. We are planning to extend it with new moderators. This will be most likely based on the monthly Forum rewards winners who had additionally shown moderator-like activity (i.e. flagging topics, renaming unclear topics titles, moving topics to proper categories).

Why do we keep “New Topic” button only on dashboard. If I am referring some topics which has been posted by someone. but I am not getting the answer.

There is a share button on each post. When you click it, it will automatically open a composer for you with a pre-filled reference to the particular post

I would say, an interesting feature would be to dismiss the resolved or closed topics in the “New” page:

There is a partial workaround to access only new topics without an answer with some URL magic See below:

This will most likely still cause the Dismiss New button to dismiss all topics rather than just the ones displayed, but should help out when looking for new topics.

We can also create a custom view as part of the Forum reports if you’d like.

Also, it would be interesting to have another column in the “New” page, to know if the member that posted the topic is a new one in the forum or not.

This is certainly something that we feel more confident having as part of the Forum reports. Check them out

For the community ideas, it would be great to have an annual event for community members.

This sounds awesome. I would say that a lot of it could be prepared by our Community themselves. We have the Random and other categories category where you could create all kinds of topics and engage other users with fun ideas!
