UiPath Extension Firefox

Is there anyone else who has the same error as me? I have updated to the latest version of Firefox, but it still shows the old version. I have updated UiPath Studio and reinstalled the Firefox extension. the extension still doesn’t want to communicate

@rpa_jasindo,

Follow the solution from this thread.

I have tried as instructed, but my extension is still not updated, even though Firefox states it is the latest version.

Just to clarify - Are you trying to open firefox in private / incognitive mode??

If yes - Kindly confirm that the option for private is also enabled

Go to extensions - Select UiPath option. Make sure the below option is enabled

I am not using incognito.

Is the option enabled? If not - as a trial and error - Enable and give a try

i using brave browser still okay, but why firefox cannot? brave using new version than firefox. certainly my UiPath studio is uptodate, and trying uninstall extension firefox from UiPath studio, install again from UiPath still cannot communicate

I now have the same issue. This bot worked fine yesterday. But a release from Firefox appears to have been installed and now it’s not communicating. As the message states that you posted, it wants 23.10 extension version, but only 23.4.1 gets installed by the latest version of UiPath. I updated all the packages, etc.

Kindly raise a support ticket with UiPath to get a confirmation on the supported versions

Where can I submit a UiPath support ticket?

If your company have customer portal

Else check with the UiPath point of contact for your company

I have the same issue as well, its behaving this way just today.

I am using the Community Edition.
My issue is that the Use Application /Browser activity opens the specified URL in the Firefox browser six times. There was no problem until yesterday, but since today it has been behaving strangely. I have reinstalled the extension but the same thing happened.

Firefox 135.0, See All New Features, Updates and Fixes

I downloaded Firefox from 135 to 133 and changed the settings so that it would not update automatically, and it worked without any problems.

During the downgrade, the “Update Available” dialog box will continue to pop up in the upper right corner of the browser.
If the Input Mode of an operation activity in a flow is set to Hardware Event and there is an element to be operated under the popup, you will need to either add a process to detect and close the popup, or change the Input Mode to Simulate. I plan to update my Firefox browser when an extension compatible with the 135.0 version is released.

Thanks for the solution! Downgrading did the trick.

Thank you for the suggestion, so the solution is to downgrade the version of Firefox. This is actually very strange; the extension should be able to adjust to the browser being used. This serves as feedback for the UiPath team to solve this extension bug.
