So recently UiPath Autopilot got an App for Microsoft Teams. I personally love the idea of being able to start bots easily from Teams. This is cool:
Then when you run it, you get this:
Some feedback:
- When you start the app, show the available processes. I had to check now in orchestrator how they were called.
- The output of the google example process is wierd. We can’t even copy the entire URL that was found.
- Setting up bots & accounts in such a way that we could run these processes took some time. More documentation on how to setup the requirements would be appreciated. Especially on the ‘Running personal automations’ part.
- I haven’t been able to setup a group with the correct settings to start processes through auto pilot, only by adding individual members. That just won’t work if I want this enabled for entire teams & departments.
- It would be cool to choose if we can share the results to everyone in the channel. Currently my interaction with autopilot is not visible for others in the channel.
That said, it’s a cool first version and I’ll continue to try it out the coming weeks.
Did anyone else try this out yet? How was your experience?
