UiPath App workflow defaulting to serverless – unable to switch to unattended

Until last week, I was able to see the option to select whether the App workflow should run in Serverless or Unattended mode. Each time I deployed the solution (Agent + Escalation App), I enabled the Unattended option.

However, in the last few days, this option is no longer visible in the Edit App window, even though no changes have been made from my side.

You should check your permissions and license status and confirm with your admin if any changes were made.
I think Might be a change in your user permissions, a license update affecting unattended robots, or tenant settings modified by an admin.

this has been an improvement on apps as the licensing is changing as of now..and running on serverless alone offers more flexibility in terms on concurrent users

release notes specifically is not mentioned

but in the pages new screens are updated
