UI PATH Automation from client end

Hello All,

All the client who want to automate their project through UIPATH, all need to install UIPATH studio to run the product and automate their system? I am new in this platform, please reply.

Hi @m.kundu,

  • UiPath Studio - an advanced tool that enables you to design automation processes in a visual manner, through diagrams.
  • UiPath Robot - executes the processes built in Studio, as a human would. Robots can work unattended (run without human supervision in any environment, be it virtual or not) or as assistants (a human triggers the process).
  • UiPath Orchestrator - a web application that enables you to deploy, schedule, monitor and manage Robots and processes, while business exception handling is available through centralized work queues.

Means also in client machine need to install UIPATH studio and connect through orchestrator?

UiPath Studio - Development purpose
UiPath Robot - run without human supervision in any environment (only to run)
UiPath Orchestrator - a web application that enables you to deploy, schedule, monitor and manage Robots and processes, while business exception handling is available through centralized work queues.

You will be having the same setup file for UiPath Strudio and UiPath Robot based on the licensing (licence key) you will get the features Studio(development), attended robot or unattended robot. if you want to deploy a robot on client’s machine you need to install using msi file and run Uirobot.exe from machine and provision the robot in orchestrator.
