Trying to send emails using UiPath.Mail.SMTP.Activities.SendMail

When trying to send message to work SMTP server I get the error message “Send SMTP mail Message 5.7.1 Unable to relay for shu-kitXXXX@sa gov.au”. SMTP server doesn’t require authentication. Can send message via PowerShell ok on the same server.

Hi Jaison, You could ask the IT team to make modifications in the server settings to allow less secure apps(it seems like it “sees” UiPath Robot as a less secure app and that’s why it’s not allowing the Robot to access the server) or Install Outlook and access the SMTP server via Outlook, as it is a high secure app so the SMTP server will not restrict it. Thanks, tried a different SMTP server that requires authentication. That seems to work. Not sure what UiPath is sending when there’s no logon account selected. So looks like the key is use an SMTP server that requires authentication.
