Test Manager: Show Requirements Coverage on Test Sets & Test Results

Hi @Gernot_Brandl,

there’s no way to evaluate the requirements coverage of indvidual test sets and test results w/o any great effort. Therefore, Test Manager should show the requirements coverage on both the level of test sets and test results.

For test results, the requirements coverage should be shown in the section “Affected requirements”. For test sets, it is suggested to add a new section “Requirements” that shows both the requirements affected by that test set and its requirements coverage as a percentage.

The requirements coverage is the ratio (expressed as a percentage) between the number of requirements affected by a test set or test results and the total number of requirements in the project.

The main use case is as follows: When testers create a test set for regression testing, they want to make sure that each requirement is at least tested by one test case.

Thank you for the idea. Affected requirements are displayed on test results. Having the display also on Test Sets is definitely something we want to look into.
