Test Manager Installation

I’m unable to get test manager (v20.4.4) to install. It is getting hung up on the “Test Manager IIS Settings” screen saying the SSL certificate for my machine is untrusted.

I’ve looked in both the local certificate store and in IIS and the certificate in question is trusted. Am I missing something?

Hi @matthew.meyer2

Has this issue been resolved for you (i.e. by contacting our technical support)? If not, please let us know.

Hi @loginerror ,

I am trying to install Test Manager but when I accept the license agreement and click on Next, I am getting this error:

It is showing that the following windows features need to be enabled in windows settings but which windows features do I need to enable. Please help, if you know about this error.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @dimple.khurana

This is a known issue that will be fixed in the new installer. It comes down to the installer does not showing correctly the Windows features that are missing from the machine.

To fix that for now, you would want to go over this documentation article and make sure all required Windows features are pre-installed:

Thank you so much for your response. I’ll give it a try.

The issue should be fixed in the latest installer as well as the 20.10.5 patch

I’m trying to install Test Manager but also getting stuck at the “Test Manager IIS Settings” screen. Port 443 keeps erroring as in use by another web application or program, and when I try to bypass the port verification check mark it wipes out my certificate so that I have to rebind it. Bypassing the port verification allows for a semi-successful install however on the last screen it throws authentication error and backs itself out, and unbinds the existing cert. Trying here before I open a ticket with UiPath,
