Task Mining Window Gets Closed / Minimized

There are several instances of Task Mining closing/ minimizing while the program is open and the end users are unable to open up the window again, how to resolve this issue?

Issue:
Task Mining windows gets closed/minimized while the program is open and the end users are unable to open up the window again. The program disappears from the system tray and taskbar, all open windows disappear.
If the user tries to open the program from a shortcut or the Start menu, a message saying that the program is already open appears.

Resolution:

  • Update Task Mining from version 23.4.4 to version 23.6.0.


Workaround:
Either restart the computer, or by opening up Task Manager and kill all associated processes.
