Studio not sending Outlook emails

Dears,

I am using “Use Desktop Outlook App” and “Send Email” activities. I am adding the account, To, subject, body but the robot is not sending the error. I am getting this error in the output panel: Cannot send /track/operation/end request to Automation Tracker server. Exception: Unauthorized.
PS:

  1. If I tick the “Save as draft” button in the send email, I get the email in the drafts in outlook
  2. If I untick it, I get the error message mentioned above.
    Any Idea how to fix it? :slight_smile:

Hi @Farah_halawani

Instead of using the Use Desktop Outlook App activity try using the Send outlook mail message activity.

Hope it helps!!

Hi @Farah_halawani

Try by updating the mail activities to the latest version by making runtime rule as lowest applicable.

It worked for me,Just now checked.

Hope it helps!!

@Farah_halawani

In manage Package of Mail Lower the Version and and in Runtime Rule:Lower application Version and then run your bot

But I have my Outlook Open so I do not add any credentials

Did not work, same error I think there is a certain settings I need to change to allow third party to send outlook emails

Did not work, I think there is something I need to change in Outlook/UiPath to allow third party to send emails from my Outlook

Hi @Farah_halawani

Try to downgrade UiPath.Mail.Activities package to lowest version by keeping Runtime Rule as Lowest As Applicable. Save the dependency.

Again go to Manage Packages and update it to latest version. Do to change the runtime rule.

Check by sending to you or in your organization
Put the email in To
If it works then check with your IT team

Still not working what should I do

My collegues are able to send emails. Just not from my side as it throws this error message. Are you sure there is nothing I need to update in my outlook settings?

@Farah_halawani

If you are able to send the emails within your organization and to yourself.

Check with the Settings in the outlook

Are you able you send emails within yourself. Once check your Outlook settings with your colleague’s Outlook settings @Farah_halawani

If the issue stills persists try contacting your IT team and check once if there has to be any access given.
