I was installed Community edition but in UiPath assistant not connecting can anyone help ?
Please check below thread for similar issue
Hi,
Do you create the organization a few years ago?
If so, it may be still disabled User license management feature. Can you try to turn it on at AutomationCloud - Admin - Settings - Advanced then assign AutomationDeveloper license to your account?
Regards,
Hello @Sruthi_Edulamudi,
Navigate to UiPath Cloud and then navigate to admin section. Under, admin section navigate to organization and then in license. There you will find option for license allocation to user from there allocate license to user and then check.
Regards,
Bharat
is a license or role of automation developer assigned to the user?
orchestrator → tenant → manage access → edit user
cheers
@Anil_G Hi tqs for your reply actually this is my Company mail and here they are not using UiPath for small task they assigned , so i was trying to install but not connecting
Here there is no option for edit user
I don’t think you can use Studio with Free license. You will at least require Community license.
Try to sign-out from assistant and re-login once.
If you are installing studio with your tenant then try to uninstall studio and assistant, go to
download studio from here by providing all details.
Follow below tutorial
As per screenshot we can see you are on a free plan and not community
You dont have studio or developer licenses in free plan..so you cannot use it
Cheers
Try uninstall and log out from all your tenants.
next time open with fresh browser there login into UiPath.Cloud and there use try for free after doing login things from there download the studio while installation it will ask few details fill those values as developer. After that you can able to fix your issue
looks like, you dont have license. Alternately you can try with different mail id .
Happy automation
Hi @prashant1603765
I don’t need a license, as the Community Edition is sufficient for small projects. However, I was trying to sign up using my company email, and it’s showing an error. I also tried with my teammate’s email, but the same issue occurred.
I was using UiPath around four months ago without any problems, so I’m not sure why this issue is happening now. Has something changed or been upgraded recently?
Please help me understand what’s going on.
Thanks!
@Anil_G then what is the solution for this how can i get free version
- you can try deleting the organization completely and recreate using community
- or use another account and start a fresh community version
cheers
- Ensure You Have Assigned a Robot in Orchestrator
Go to UiPath Orchestrator.
Navigate to Tenant > Users.
Click your user and ensure the Robot checkbox is checked.
Assign the correct attended or unattended robot as needed.
- Create a Machine and Link it Properly
Go to Tenant > Machines.
Add a Standard Machine using your computer’s actual machine name.
You can get it from CMD by typing whoami or hostname.
Download the Machine Key and copy it.
Go back to UiPath Assistant and connect using Machine Key (instead of Service URL).
- Configure the Robot in Modern Folder
Navigate to your Modern Folder (e.g., Default).
Go to the Users tab and ensure your user is assigned.
Go to the Machines tab and ensure the machine is added.
Make sure you assign a role with permissions like Robot, Execution, etc.
- Licensing
Ensure that your Community license has available robot licenses (Attended or Unattended).
You can check this under:
Admin > Licenses > Robots & Services
- Reconnect UiPath Assistant
Open UiPath Assistant.
Sign out if already connected.
Reconnect using either:
Machine Key + Orchestrator URL
or the Service URL (if you verified user and machine are correctly mapped)
Based on my experience, I also tried using my company email. I think after 60 days, I started getting the same issue because it’s only valid for trial purposes. After that, you need to purchase it.
- you have to create a fresh id for community use with your personal mail id.
@Anil_G now its installed , i deleted organization and created again thank you so much to All ![]()
@prashant1603765 After 2 months also we can get again 2 months more trail version with same mail id
No @Sruthi only one time. You have to create with a fresh ID.
Happy Automation
