Studio Installation Fails

HI
I’ve been using uipath studio since last 5 months. Recently it stopped opening. So I uninstalled older version and tried newer one but installation is failing. Log file is stapled below.

OS : MS Windows 10
Studio version : 21.4.2 (21.4.0 failed as well)

How to fix your Studio installation / Licensing issues

It includes a few additional steps to clean up your environment before installing it anew.

Also, before you do that, could you maybe send me @loginerror an output of our image? It would help us look into the issue and prevent it in the future.

I’ve run the command to delete these folders as mentioned in thread and ran installation again. Still it failed. Please help

Hello,

The error was raised due to the userpath is not exist to load uipath installation files.
Try to add another user login in windows os and try to install, it will works.

I was able to complete installation on new windows user. Stuck in Sign in issues
When I closed the application, it’s not opening again (the very reason I started this activity in the first place)
Back to square one :pensive:

Does running the installer as machine Administrator help here?

It looks like there are some permission issues with the user folder where the Studio Community is installed:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\UiPath

Installation shows complete. I was able to open studio as well. Just does not run anymore.
Trying running from command prompt as well “C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\UiPath>UiPath.Studio.exe” but it does not start.
How would I know if there’s permission issue or not

Could you go to the Windows Event Viewer and see if there are any errors related to Studio?

Windows event log has last information as of 30-Apr. (install date)
Filters applied : Application log : Uipath

Sequence of events as follows:
Uipath studio suddenly stops works.Application does not open.
Previous app uninstalled and attempted new install. It fails
Post updates on this thread, created new user and completed install
Application opens initially
No action on opening trying to open app from shortcut or command prompt

I believe this issue is fixed in the latest patched version of Studio 21.4.4.
