This is for anyone else who happens to run into the same issue.
I was able to use a “Use Application/Browser” scope to open up CMD in the remote session and from there used the “shutdown /l” (its an L) option to log off.
Send Hotkey Alt+F4
Make sure you select ClickBeforeTypying to TRUE
Then add an Element Exists to check the OK button exists
If True, another Send Hotkey and select Enter
Hi everyone,
I found a way to do it properly:
Send hotkey Win+r
Type into “logoff[k(enter)]”
It is a proper way to do a logoff of a RDP Session.
Hope it will help!
Best regards,
Use the Send Hotkey activity with the following shortcuts:
CTRL + ALT + END → Opens the security screen inside RDP. Then, send ALT + S to sign out.
Alternatively, ALT + F4 on the desktop will bring up the shutdown options, where you can choose “Sign Out.”
2. Run Logoff Command via Command Prompt
Use the "Invoke PowerShell"or “Open Application” activity to run:
use cmd logoff
This will log off the active session instantly
