SET TEXT Function in Studio X

Hi There,

We have mostly an unattended environment using Studio as our developer toolkit. In recent month some of our business users want to get involved and are looking at developing some attended automations.

I spoke to one of them today and they said that they tried StudioX but it becomes time consuming because the SET TEXT function isn’t available in Studio X.

As a result he has ditched StudioX and we have had to licence him with a Studio licence.

Anyone else find StudioX has limitations, even for business users?

StudioX is sufficient for smaller and simpler processes and is targeted for business users.

Any specific situation to use Set text instead of Type Into?

Thanks, got this resolved.
The solution was to “Simulate” the Type Into activity instead of using the default “Same as App/Browser” option
