Send smtp mail stopped working. Works fine from Orch settings

Right, this issue is mentioned several times in the forum for the last, what I can tell, six months but UiPath has so far failed to answer or do anything about it.

Send Smtp Mail Message worked fine this morning but it does not work anymore.

Errormessage: RemoteException wrapping System.TimeoutException: Timed out while waiting for Mail Service to connect

This activity has worked fine for several years and no changes have had to be made to the Orchestrator mail settings or the processes in the workflow.

What is it that you have done? What have you changed? Why does it work from Orchestrator but not from the processes themselves?

did we try increasing the TimeoutMS property from its default value of 30 seconds to some other value in milliseconds
