Why send hotkeys work without using “indicate element” ?
What is the difference between using indicate element and without using it in send hotkeys activity?

Send hotkey works because it is a keyboard action, don’t require to be in a particular to work.

The main difference is when you don’t indicate the element, the send hotkey will work in the application that is currently active in the screen
But when you indicate the element, it will focus on the particular element or window, and will send the hotkey just in that window
