Save Word file in specific folder

Hello There,
I am in situation where I need to save "word " files from a website to specific folder.
Can anyone please suggest some robust method to do so.

Two ways.

  1. If you are opening the Word document before saving down,

Use “Send hot key -F12” -> opens save as dialog box.
Here you can provide your destination path(using “Type into” activity)
Click Save

  1. Saving directly from website.
    Once you download you would be seeing popup and the footer of your like below. Click the drop down in Save button, Select save as and follow the steps mentioned above to save down.

Thanks Sudhakar but somehow type into is not working in window to select the appropriate folder and it is not saving the file in desired folder.

You can pass the value of your desired path and concatenate the foĺder name!

Welcome to the community!

Do one thing save your files to a specific folder or even in download folder if you are sure there is nothing else there

  • Use Directory.GetFiles(“folderPath”,"*docx")
  • This will give an array of all the file names that are of type word in a particular folder
  • Use for each loop and in that loop use Move file activity
  • This will move all the word files into desired folder
