Im getting this error in my assistant.
The process cannot access the file ‘C:\Users\rparobot\AppData\Local\UiPath\UiPath.settings’ because it is being used by another process. the account has full rights
in orchestrator it is telling me that the robot is Unresponsive.
so i was going to remove and re-add the machine but it is giving me this error
The machine has running jobs in the specified folder(s) (#1666)
The error you’re encountering with the UiPath.settings
file usually occurs when multiple processes are trying to access the same file simultaneously. Restart UiPath services and ensure no process using this file
It has nothing to do with Orchestrator. It’s a file on your local machine. The error literally says it’s being used by another process, not that it’s a permissions issue. Just try rebooting.
i did reboot and I’m still having the same issue.
Uninstall and reinstall UiPath.
