"Read Text" Activity- Not able to read .doc file types

I am using “Read Text” activity to read the .docx and .doc but the .doc file format is not supported. Is there a different approach which we can use to read the .doc file types?

Error: “Read Text: File format .doc not supported, try .docx instead”

Appreciate any inputs on this question!

Have you tried simply renaming it to .docx?

Thanks, @postwick. I tried renaming to .docx but that didn’t solve the problem. I tried with the “Read Text” activity under the “App Integration” and it worked. We need to have this activity inside the Word Application Scope. Much appreciate your help.
