Read email error - SSLhandshake exception

Hi All,

Need help… i’m getting below error while reading email

RemoteException wrapping MailKit.Security.SslHandshakeException: An error occurred while attempting to establish an SSL or TLS connection.

Check this

Get IMAP mail messages failed

Try the same steps on gmail inbox with IMAP.gmail.com with 993. Diffrence between 143 and 993 port is 143 comes with STARTTLS encryption while 993 SSL/TLS encrypted which is more secure

The workflow is unable to retrieve the mails @makvikram , If you are trying to retrieve more messages, try reducing them to less and check once again, if the authentication credentials , host port and the folder everything is correct

Dont know if you got that problem solved. I had the same error and found a solution. Maybe this would help someone in the future.

After I filled out every box in the activity. For accessing Gmail, used 993 port. I allowed the unsecure apps in gmail and IMAP.

Then I got that this error was a conflict with my antivirus. I use kaspersky.
So i had to inactivate the 993 port track within it. And problem solved.
