Hi, I want to use the Orchestrator app on my company (on premises Orchestrator).
My problem is that I’m not responsible for the environment and don’t have direct access to the UiPath TAM team, and the team responsible for the platform management told me that UiPath told them that they do not recommended for us to use the app? Can anyone tell me why it’s not recommended? All I want to do is monitor some jobs on my phone and not manage everything, and for that I think the app worked perfectly.
It might not be that UiPath team did not recommend…but every company has their own security standards which might not be inline with the security standard ss your company has…like support of login type, allowing management app on phone to interact with UiPath app atc
cheers
That’s where I have some doubts, because they told me that UiPath said they do not recommend the application because it’s very old (las updated 2 years ago).
If the app really has some security problem, UiPath need to address it, it’s 2025 and we do everything on our phone, but I still need to use my laptop to check if a job ran or not (I know I can connect to the UiPath on my phone on the browser, but it’s not possible to use it because the UI is terrible).
But thanks for the answer anyway.
Hi @uKisuke
Not recommend using the Orchestrator app due to security concerns, limited functionality, compatibility issues, or access restrictions, especially for on-premises setups. It’s best to clarify these concerns with your platform team or UiPath support.
If your concern is resolved, please mark it as solved
