Get Outlook Mail Messages: The specified folder does not exist.
Hi @Sri_Vennila
Have you specified any Mail Folder in the Get Outlook Mail Message Activity
Regards
Gokul
Hi Gokul thanks for replying…Yes mentioned as “Inbox” as per uipath academy video but still not working
HI @Sri_Vennila
Can you share the screenshot of your properties panel of the activity?
Sure. Im pretty much upset with the Uipath Forum and academy I don’t find any solutions for these errors. In Academy they directly jump into the program even though we mentioned as beginner Very sad
Ok sure i will try this
Hi @Sri_Vennila
Try removing everything from
Account and only give “Inbox” or “sample@gmail.com\Inbox”
Make sure to give the exact name as it looks in outlook profile
Cheers
Hi @Sri_Vennila ,
Have you try adding outlook app scope before get outlook main?
Hi @Sri_Vennila
Do you possibly have more than one account or access to shared inbox on your mail-account? Could you please share this information, here an example of my Outlook Client (anonymized):
Blue: Mail Accounts
Yellow: Shared Inbox (I have access to)
What is the case for you, are you trying to access a mail account or shared inbox?
No … Not possible. Only one mail id for outlook has been logged into.
No this is new to me. Where should I add?
Alright, could you kindly try as follows:
In Input:
-
Account: YourEmailAccount@provider.com
-
MailFolder: FolderName to grab Emails from (usually Inbox), I’m using “Posteingang” as I have my Outlook in German language.
ok sure. Im trying this
Could you please share a screenshot?!
Actually first we need to sign in with the Microsoft outlook mail account in the Laptop/PC for the main System user account where I have logged in with the gmail account instead of Microsoft outlook. I have logged in outlook within the browser only. So UiPath was unable to access the mail box. Now I have set up the user account in my Laptop and the issue resolved. Thankyou
