currently having a production server migration and the SMTP activity is failing in the new server. When we checked the IP and port connectivity it’s going through without any issues but the SMTP activity fails. Server has proxy also in place. Any idea what could be wrong?
Its off only, still its failing
You can request IT team to enable the SMTP access to the new server provided.
Port communication is not enough for SMTP.
Access has to be specifically allowed for the required server.
