Open workflow with older version Studio

Hey Folks!

I created a workflow using Community Studio ver 2019.8.0, but now I would have to edit / run it in an Enterprise Studio ver 2019.4.4. I know that sw versions naturally support older version files only, but if I can’t migrate / convert my wf to be compatible to the older version studio I would have to redo the whole wf from scratch!(?)

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi @naut1lus, Unfortunate Studio is not compatible back (in terms of running new project on old Studio). In case of huge versions discrepancy many attributes, functions, activities etc. may work completely different or even not working at all. What you may try to do is to remove project.json file from catalog and open project in older Studio from main.xaml file. Then download all needed packages and open other xaml’s from project and save it. This will generate new json file with dependencies. …

Hey @Pablito,

thanks for the tip. I managed to solve the circumnavigate the problem by downgrading the UiPath.System.Activities package to version 19.4.0.
