Could you try downloading a stable version instead of the beta and give it a try?
Please install the stable 2019.10.0 version. It should fix the issue.

Have you install Msoffice in your monitor?
Any solution here? I’m having the same issue with stable and beta versions, and MS Office 2013. I’ll try other MSO versions as well.
I uninstalled MSO 2013 and installed 2016, and it worked. I no longer get the ‘error opening workbook’ error, but I haven’t figured out why it didn’t work earlier.
