How to resolve the error "No more RPA Developer Pro robots available. Please update your license!"?

Issue:
Error message received: "No more RPA Developer Pro robots available. Please update your license!" Error code: 1900. The message is applicable for other types of licenses: "No more [other license] robots available. Please update your license!'.


Issue Description:

The developer license is allocated to the personnel as expected. Under the Tenant -> license -> automation developer -> See more -> the license is consumed by the respective people and the status shows connected but the machine column shows '0'.

When the respective user tries to connect the Studio to the Orchestrator from the local machine or VM. An error "There are no more licenses available" is thrown.

When tried to connect the Assistant to the Orchestrator -> the status connected to the Orchestrator, unable to retrieve a license.


Resolution:

  1. In Automation Cloud, access Admin -> Select your Tenant -> Licenses -> verify the license allocation. Edit allocation to allocate more licenses
  2. In the case of the Modern folder, check if the User is mapped to the Folder. If not, assign the User to the Folder.


If the issue persists:

  1. Navigate to Tenant -> Manage access -> Click on the Kebab menu (3 standing dots) right next to the respective user and click on deactivate the User
  2. Check if the license is released for the respective user or not from tenant -> License -> Developer license -> see more, If the license is not yet released
  3. Navigate to the tenant -> Manage access -> Manage accounts & groups -> Users, Remove the respective user from the organization
  4. Send the invite by adding the user. Reactivate the user under Tenant -> Manage access -> Kebab menu, in case is not removed from here
  5. The license is released by this time
  6. Once the user rejoins the organization, provide the respective license and try connecting from Studio / Assistant to Orchestrator. The license should be used as expected.
