I’ve installed Microsoft Edge Extension but somehow not able to execute my bots. IT gives me below error.

Message : Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension. source : UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities Trace : at UiPath.Core.Activities.ScopeActivity.EndExecute(NativeActivityContext context, IAsyncResult result) at UiPath.Core.Activities.ObsoleteAsyncNativeActivity.BookmarkResumptionCallback(NativeActivityContext context, Bookmark bookmark, Object value) at System.Activities.Runtime.BookmarkCallbackWrapper.Invoke(NativeActivityContext context, Bookmark bookmark, Object value) at System.Activities.Runtime.BookmarkWorkItem.Execute(ActivityExecutor executor, BookmarkManager bookmarkManager)

Hey!

Try to upgrade the system.Activities package…

And try to reinstall the extension

Then restart the pc

Same error getting. It is opening browser AND failed to perform first element exist activity , something on browser, like when I try to select some element, It is not allowing me to select proper element. It just capturing entire screen.

Hello @PALKUMARI_PATEL It looks like updating all packages to the latest version would resolve that issue. Please refer to the below thread

Try to upgrade or downgrade the packages to a stable version and try it again? Also is that workflow created with edge?

Will try that . Created meaning ? It is opening Edge browser but when activities start, it says can not communicate with the browser.

While creating the autoamtion, which browser you have used? Is it msedge? Or you created automation with someother browser and trying to switch to msedge?

Yes, it was created on Chrome and now switching to Edge. but this is working on other VM . only this vm has issue on Edge Browser.

Upgrade the UiPath.system.activities

Uninstall the extension and reinstall it again

Hi we are also having edge problems right now , somehow right now edge is not working,

and it usually works , try to raise ticket to uipath regarding this issues,
your problem might be the same as me
