Lost access to free trial

Hi all,

A bit of a weird one. I work in a very IT protected organisation and have to request software to be installed, so I requested UiPath Studio on there.

I had managed to get the free trial activated and installed on my machine separately and was working through the academy with no problems.

My software installation request was then approved by my company a few days later, so now I seem to have 2 versions of Studio on my machine, and whichever one I open, I don’t get the option to sign in, it just asks for a license key.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? Is is possible to get a “license key” for your free trial while it is still active?

Many thanks,
Duncan

hi @duncan.c
Welcome to the Uipath Community

Probably you may download enterprise trial setup that’s gives you the trial period only
so if you are continuing it you have to purchase the license

But for you , you have to use the Uipath Studio Community Edition
https://download.uipath.com/beta/UiPathStudioCommunity.msi

This is total Free version offering by Uipath for education purposes and for SMEs

Just uninstall all of your version currently installed on your pc and re install the with the above link , you will not required license for that

Hello @duncan.c

If your organization is having astudio license for the development then you can activate the license to continue the service. Else you can reach out to the team to install the stable community version of the UiPath. Better always to install the latest version.

Also are you able to login to your cloud for the activation?

Thanks
