Long Initial Load Time for Projects in Studio

Studio takes longer to open projects.


When a project is opened in Studio, it takes a long time to load.


Resolution:

  1. Check with the IT team to confirm if the following files have been excluded from antivirus scanning or any scanning performed by Windows Defender or similar software.


"UiPath.Studio.Project.exe"
"UiPath.Studio.Analyzer.exe"
"UiPath.Studio.exe"
"UiPath.Studio.DataBaseServer.exe"
and all the .exe and .dll files from the Studio installation folder, as well as the %userprofile%.nuget\packages folder (the specified packages installation folder).

Note: Administrator rights are required to add exclusions in Windows Defender and third-party antivirus tools.

  1. Review this documentation to confirm whether all the services that Studio connects to are whitelisted.
  2. Check this documentation and apply the Solution for the Studio and Robot machine.
