Lesson 5 Practice 2 Outline--Clipping region

Hello again, I’m reading the instructions for the lesson above and the first step reads:
1.Highlights and double clicks on the editing area without using a clipping region
What is meant by clipping region? Do you mean clickable region?

Hey,

Clipping Region is pretty much you defining a different region that the default region, which is the outline of the element you are looking at. So if you have a button or window element, it’s the region around that element. Now, you can Set the clipping region and it will in only look in that region for the activity for actions like Get Text or Click Element.

For further details on Setting the clipping region you could do a search on these forums for how to use the parameters of the element’s region to set a new rectangle clipping region.
