Issue in new use application/browser

how to use this activity after my studio update i am not able to use this or indicating web window.help if anyone knows this

@sharmadeepak4167

Downgrade your UiAutomation package to previous versions. This behavour I had observed when we have older version of the studio and latest version of the UiAutomation package.

Hi @sharmadeepak4167,

Welcome to the community.

You can select the required window from the Work in Scope drop-down. It automatically detects the available application windows and lists them for selection. So, no need to indicate the Window.

Thanks :blue_heart:

Select the required window from the Work in Scope drop-down, which automatically detects and lists all available application windows, so there’s no need to manually indicate the window.

After the Studio update, the Modern ‘Use Application/Browser’ activity allows you to select the target directly from the Work in Scope drop-down. It automatically detects and lists all open application/browser windows, so there is no need to use the ‘Indicate Window’ option separately. Simply choose the required window from the list and continue building your automation.

Hi @sharmadeepak4167

Pls go to manage package and upgrade or downgrade this UiPath.UIAutomationNext.Activities Package.

Happy Automation

You can use the Work in scope drop-down menu to view all the tabs you currently have open and select the one you want to switch to.

Hi @sharmadeepak4167,

Could you please share the following details?

  • Which UiPath Studio version are you using?
  • Which version of the UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package is installed in your project?

You can also try upgrading or downgrading the UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package and check if that resolves the issue. I encountered a similar problem previously, and updating the package fixed it for me.

Cheers!

This picture is captured from the UiPath Studio Web. Are we in the same page?

I have been checking every attribute in this Use Application/Browser activity and didn’t see there is the “Work in Scope” drop-down.
