Is communication initiated by Robot or Orchestrator in un attended automation?

Hi all,
Am a bit confused here, I learned in both cases whether attended or unattended, communication is always triggered by robot between robot and orchestrator. Should 4 and 5 be swapped? In this case seems like orchestrator triggers communication?

Hello @Shuja_Butt

Welcome to UiPath community.!

Asp er my understanding there is no need to swap.

The job will get assigned to unattended robots from the orchestrator and based on the trigger the job will get execute. If its attended, manually we will be triggering the execution.

Point 5 is the mechanism how unattended robots communicate with the orchestrator.

Thanks

@Rahul_Unnikrishnan ,

Thank you so much for your response, but how does orchestrator knows a certain robot exists and I can
assign jobs to it when its free?

Many Thanks

A UiPath robot is having multiple status. Based on the status orchestrator comes to know whether bots are available to assign a task. if bot is free, then status will be available, else busy.

Thanks

@Rahul_Unnikrishnan ,
Thanks for guidance
