Invalid UI node in Internet Explorer

Hello guys,

Urgently need help.

When I am trying to locate an element in IE, say enter username on a login page, it just doesnt identify it, says "invalid UI node " .

Could you please help.

Note: It works with protection mode on but it used to work with it being off, now it does not. Also the site that I am trying to work on is included in trusted sites, ironically this error is popping up only when I try to work on sites added in there. others are working fine.

I am trying to create a relative simple routine that takes a list support tickets, opens our intranet and using an input box finds the ticket by number and changes the status of the ticket.
