How to resolve Taxonomy Manager Issue

Hi,

I have created a new process using document understanding process template. But when I click on the taxonomy manager, I get an error pop up saying "Communication between Uipath studio and the taxonomy manager ended unexpectedly "
Before I get this pop up, it asks me to install .net runtime and installed .Net version 6.0 on my computer.

I tried updating all dependencies and also I have 1.8.0 version of Uipath.CefSharpBundle.NetCore but it is not working for me.

Could someone please help me with the above issue?

Hi, you need the 5.0.1 version of .net to use the taxonomy manager which can be found here:

Make sure you select the “Run Desktop Apps” and the x64 version.

But 5.0.1 is no longer available , so i downloaded Version 6.0

Even after facing the same issue.

Can you try with the last 5.0 release? I I believe it is 5.0.17
Download .NET 5.0 Desktop Runtime (v5.0.17) - Windows x64 Installer (microsoft.com)

Its literally there in the link, Yes its end of life. You can still click through and download the x64 version to “Run Desktop Apps”.

6.0 won’t work, I tried that with a client before I uploaded this fix.
And I apologize, in my original post I missed the 7 on 5.0.17
