How to open application e.g. Microsoft Outlook/Word using UI Path Community Edition

Hi,

Is it possible to open applications such as Microsoft Outlook/Word using the UI Path Community edition? I would love to know how to do it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

You can try one of the following:

  1. Use “Word application scope” activity - if it’s not available in your activity list then you should first install it (Design / Manage packages)
    OR
  2. Use “Open Application” Activity

Use open application activity
And pass the exe location of application as input
