How To Install and Use Dynamic Activity Packages for Integration Services
Resolution:
What is a Dynamic Activity Pack?
DAP - Dynamic Activity Pack, is a single activity pack / representation layer of all the Integration Service connectors. With Dynamic Activities you will not need to install the separate activity packs for each of the connectors anymore. All you need is UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities. This is a single package which works for all activity packs and you will not need to install anything extra. The only requirement is that you need to be on 23.10 or a newer Studio version.
How Do You Install Dynamic Activities?
- In Uipath Studio using Manage Packages > search UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities
- Install the most recent version of this package
- Once Installed, a List of activities will now be under the "Available" section of the Activity tab in studio
- From this Activities tab, you can now drag and drop the desired activities directly into your workflow. The Integration Service activities will most commonly be under the advanced sub tab of a connector, for example:
- Example to how to use, dragging the Get Record to your workflow as seen in the above image will automatically install all required dependencies and will immediately be usable with the corresponding Integration Service Connection in Automation Cloud.
